Primary Generalist Teacher \u2013 Female | Expat Position \ud83c\udf1f<\/p>\n
We are seeking a versatile and dedicated Primary Generalist to join our team in Hay Al Sharooq International School –\u00a0 HASIS –\u00a0 Sur. This role is ideal for an educator who thrives on the breadth of the primary curriculum and is comfortable teaching across both Lower and Upper Primary phases.<\/p>\n
Essential Criteria:<\/p>\n
Education: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or PGCE with a Primary Generalist focus.<\/p>\n
Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience within the age range.<\/p>\n
Cambridge Core Mastery: Strong instructional skills in the Cambridge Primary core subjects: English, Mathematics, and Science.<\/p>\n
Pedagogical Flexibility: Ability to deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that meet Cambridge learning objectives for various age groups.<\/p>\n
Classroom Management: Proven ability to maintain an organized, engaging, and disciplined learning environment.<\/p>\n
Professionalism: A positive, collaborative team player committed to the school’s mission of educational excellence in Oman.<\/p>\n
Preferred Criteria:<\/p>\n
Cambridge Experience: Direct experience teaching the Cambridge Primary Framework or preparing students for Primary Checkpoints.<\/p>\n
EAL Support: Experience teaching English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners within a mainstream classroom.<\/p>\n
Assessment Literacy: Skilled in using formative and summative assessment data to track student progress.<\/p>\n
Tech Integration: Proficiency in using technology to enhance the Cambridge curriculum.<\/p>\n
Community Fit: Already residing in or eager to join the community in Sur; appreciation for an outdoor-oriented lifestyle.<\/p>\n
