Head of Secondary Maths | Expat Position
Lead our Maths Department to excellence 📐

Essential Criteria:
– Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) OR Bachelor in Mathematics + PGCE (teaching qualification) minimum
– Minimum 2 years teaching experience, leadership experience highly desirable
– Strong background in secondary mathematics, IGCSE/A-Level preferred
– Proven ability to lead a department, manage staff, and drive academic results
– Positive nature & supportive member of staff
– Willing to positively work towards our goal of being one of the leading schools in Oman

Preferred Criteria:
– Experience in curriculum planning and departmental strategy
– 5 years teaching experience, with leadership experience
– Track record of improving student outcomes in Maths
– Experience with international examinations: Cambridge/Edexcel
– Strong data analysis and performance monitoring skills
– Ability to mentor and develop teaching staff
– Experience with British or international curriculum
– Experience with EAL (English as an Additional Language) students
– Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities
– Living in Sur – appreciation for outdoor, community-based lifestyle
